Confusion regarding participation & attendence score

It was mentioned during last lecture that we have to submit the summary of security vulnerabilities and each summary will count for 5 points out of 10. If the sender is selected he will have to present the topic.
So, my question is:
if we submit at least 2 vulnerabilities and unfortunately we are never selected for presentation, will we be getting 10 points from this section as (2x 5points)or we will still get 5 points as we never presented any topic in the class?

Hi,

Here are the rules concerning this part of the evaluation:
- Students willing to participate should write a short summary about a recent piece of news on IT security, and prepare a short talk to present it in class.
- They cannot submit more than one summary per week. They cannot submit more than two summaries over the whole semester.
- Two topics are chosen to be discussed in class. The corresponding students will be notified by email the day before. If they do not show up or are not prepared, they do not get the 5% for their summary.
- Aside from this case, any other summary is worth 5% of the final grade, even if the students are not chosen to deliver their talk. (so two summaries are 10%)

Cheers,

Lisa
