rename the eclipse project
what does it mean? The name of my project does matter to the svn? So when i checked out the ex02 folder for example, i got to the top root of project an do refactor->rename? It is the same name he asked me for when i checked out the exercise for first time. So rename the second ex02 folder in my template above has same effect?
(The easiest way for me would be to copy the template to our repository via "team->copy to" then "specify new name" and rename to "ex02-16")
I need some clarification, maybe for dummies, sorry
If you copy the template to your team folder, the top-level-element you are copying is the project-folder. This project-folder has some (arbitrary) name, but if you import some project into eclipse, the "real" project name isn't the name of the project-folder but the name specified in the ".project"-file located in the project-folder.
If every team is just copying the folder (and might rename the folder name) then the project's name stays unchanged (and hence, we (the tutors) get into problems if we try to import multiple project at a time and we cannot relate one project to the corresponding team). Therefore, please rename the project (either using Eclipse's renaming (Refactor->Rename on the project) or by editing the ".project"-file manually). As you now might see, the project-folder's name is only important for the SVN and the project's name only for the tutors
