Image Derivate for Time..

how do i calculate the derivate for the time from an image? i.e. the I_t of lucas-kanade.. i'm kinda stuck. :/

\(I_t \approx I(t+1) - I(t)\)

What is \(f_t\) in the formula in task 2? How to calculate it?

\(f_x\) is the first frame's x-derivative, right? (In this case: frame7's x-derivative.)

\(f_t = frame7 - frame8\)
