we are looking for tutors to assist us with exercise and lab supervision for the OS course (Operating Systems) in the upcoming winter semester. Applicants should have a solid knowledge of the topics taught in our course. Lab tutors should have good knowledge of the C programming language and be used to Linux. Applicants should be fluent in English since the course will be taught in English. However, knowledge of German is clearly beneficial.
We are offering positions for exercise supervision with 40h/month and for four months (October through January). The tutors are expected to prepare (~3h/week) and supervise the weekly exercise session (1.5h/week). An office hour of at most 1.5h should be offered. Furthermore, we need to adjust the exercise format for better scalability and the tutors are expected to help us with that (~4h/week).
We also offer positions for the supervision and testing of three to four lab tasks with 20h/month for four months (October through January). The tutors are expected to answer student questions regarding the labs (~4h/lab), perform the actual testing (~7h/lab), and prepare the lab tasks (~9h/lab).
Please note that contract details are negotiable.
