The Reactive Programming Technology group (Prof. Guido Salvaneschi), Department of Computer Science (Informatik) at the Technical University of Darmstadt, has several openings for research assistant in the context of DFG projects. The positions focus on programming language design and implementation, and their application to Software Engineering, Distributed Systems and Security.

The projects entail work on theory and on implementation with the weighting adjusted according to the candidate’s profile, which would ideally complement the current group members. The position can be filled with a PhD student.


- University degree in computer science or mathematics, or a comparable subject.
The ideal candidate has a PL or Software Engineering background. Depending on the specific target project, candidates with Distributed Systems or Security background are also welcome.

- Good knowledge of spoken and written English.


The salary is according to the TV-L E13 scale of German public service.
